Northwesterly winds, associated with Storm Hannah, will reach mean speeds in excess of 80km/h with violent gusts of 130 to 150 km/h in places this evening between 6pm and 8pm.

Northwesterly winds, associated with Storm Hannah, will reach mean speeds of 65-80 km/h with gusts of 110 to 130 km/h this evening/early tonight.
  • Event: Severe Wind warning
  • Severity: Orange
  • Valid from: Fri. 26/04 @ 3PM
  • Valid to: Sat. 27/04 @ 12AM
  • Affected Areas: Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick

Road Closures for Quest Kenmare Adventure Race

Roads / Streets Closed on Saturday, 2nd March from 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
  • N71, Kenmare - starting from Henry Street Junction and finishing at the Park Street Junction.
  • Market Street, Kenmare - starting from Market house and finishing at the N71 Junction.
(Motorists are advised at the above times Park Street will operate as a two-way street. All traffic is advised to use the Kenmare eastern Relief Road via Park Street and Railway Road)

Kenmare Parking/Casual Trading Restrictions The following car parking spaces will be closed as follows:
From 6.00 p.m. on Friday, 1st March to 6.00 p.m. on Saturday, 2nd March:
  • All car parking bays on both sides of N71 starting from Henry Street Junction and finishing at the Park Street Junction.
  • Car parking bays on the left (West) side of Henry Street
The following casual trading bays will be closed as follows:
From 6.00 p.m. on Thursday, 28th February to 6.00 p.m. on Saturday, 2nd March:
  • Casual trading bays (No. 20 to No. 29) on Park Street.
