Bridge Works L2762 Dromgownagh Bridge, Dripsey

Road Closure - L2762 Dromgownagh Bridge, Dripsey from Tuesday 21st July to Monday 11th August 2020 to facilitate Bridge Replacement works.




Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

From 08.00hrs on Tuesday 21st July, 2020 to 12.00hrs on Monday 11th August, 2020

Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Bridge Replacement works at Dromgownagh Bridge

Alternative Routes

Vehicles travelling from Ballyanly to Dripsey should turn right onto the L-6809 at Dromgownagh cross road and travel to the Model Village. In the Model Village, vehicles should turn left at Halissey’s Cross onto L-6808 and travel south. At the junction with the L-2761, traffic should turn left for Dripsey.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-85-2020, not later than 5pm on Tuesday 23rd June, 2020. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
