Check out these 3 great events which are taking  place soon at Garristown Library.  

On Tuesday 7th May, from 11am-12pm, there will be a talk on environmental awareness. Fingal’s Environmental Awareness Officer, Sinéad Fox, will give this talk on environmental awareness in terms of waste management, energy and water usage.

On Wednesday 8th May, from 7-8pm, there will be a Coeliac Awareness talk with Sarah Keogh who is a dietician with the Coeliac Society of Ireland.

Movie night for adults at Garristown Library. The movie, Philomena, starring Judi Dench and Steve Coogan, will be screened in the library on Wednesday 15th May at 6.30pm. Philomena is based on the book, The Lost Child of Philomena Lee, by journalist Martin Sixsmith. It tells the story of Philomena Lee’s 50 year search for her forcibly adopted son and Sixsmith’s efforts to help her find him.
