Local pedestrian access only at Fingal parks

Parks in Fingal will only be open to local pedestrians tomorrow (Saturday) following the announcement by the Government of new measures to minimise the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The decision has been made in order to facilitate citizens living within 2km of parks to take brief individual physical exercise within their locality, which may include children from their household provided all adhere to strict 2m social distancing measures.

All car parks attached to parks, beaches and open spaces will be closed until April 12 along with the Estuary and Coolmine Recycling Centres.

Citizens are reminded that all public and private gatherings of any number of people outside a single household living unit are prohibited.

For further information on the measures announced by the Government this evening please go to www.gov.ie
