Update: Severe winds associated with Storm Diana on Wednesday: South to southwest winds of 65 to 80 km/h will gust 110 to 130 km/h. High Seas also, with a risk of coastal flooding.

Storm Diana Orange Status Warning

As Storm Diana approaches today Wednesday, south to south westerly winds are forecast to reach strong gale to storm force along our coasts.  High tides and heavy rain are expected with surges also possible. Extreme care should be exercised in or near coastal areas. Do not enter onto piers, harbours and marinas unless absolutely necessary. Met Eireann currently has a Status Orange weather warning in place for County Wexford.
