Water Interruption Notice – Enniscorthy Town and surrounding areas.


Water Supply is off in Enniscorthy Town and surrounding areas due to a burst water main at Templeshannon Lower. Repairs are underway and supply should be restored by 18:00.

Low water pressure and / or discolouration of water may be experienced when supply is restored.

Unplanned Water Outage Carlow Town Area.

  Carlow County Council wish to advise consumers that due to essential network upgrade works that the water supply serving the following areas will be shut down from 9.00pm on Wednesday, 2nd November, 2016 until 2.00am on Thursday, 3rd November, 2016.

 Areas affected:-
  • Tullow Street

  • Potato Market

  • Kennedy Avenue

  • St. Joseph’s Road

  • Old Dublin Road

  • Strawhall

  • College Street

  • Greenbank Road & Surrounding Areas.

BOIL WATER NOTICE

Public Alert: Boil Water Notice


Irish Water & Roscommon County Council

It has come to the attention of Irish Water and Roscommon County Council that the water supply served by Ballinlough Loughglynn public water scheme is contaminated with Cryptosporidium. On the advice of the Health Service Executive, a boil water notice is being issued. Accordingly, in the interest of public health, it is recommended that all users on the Ballinlough Loughglynn water scheme boil water before use.

Water must be boiled for:

  • Drinking

  • Drinks made with water

  • Preparation of salads and similar foods, which are not cooked prior to eating

  • Brushing of teeth

  • Making of ice
Areas Affected include Ballinlough, Cloonfad, Trien, Cloonkeen, Cloonbunny, Silverfield, Cloonagh, Tonragee, Garanlahan Lowberry and all townlands surrounding these. Semi Private Group schemes served by the public water supply are also affected.
