ESB power has been restored to the pumps supplying water to Garristown Reservoir. It will take a few hours to restore water levels in Garristown Reservoir. Water will then be released into the water mains network filling low lying areas first and continuing until all areas including higher ground is refilled. It is anticipated that all areas will have water supply restored by 3pm this afternoon, with full water pressure to all areas by 5pm.
Alternative tankered water supply (Boil Water Notice) will remain available at the following two locations:
- Outside St. Mary’s N.S., Garristown, R130 (2 Tankers),
- Outside Daybreak Service Station, Garristown (1Tanker).
Bottled water supplies have been made available at the above locations since this morning.
