ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road Subject of Proposed Closure:

L1320 Ballindillanig Bridge, Churchtown, Charleville.



Period of Proposed Closure:

From 08:00hrs Monday, 7th January 2019 to 12:00hrs Friday 1st February 2019.

(24 Hour Closure)



Reason for Proposed Closure:

To facilitate Bridge Repair Works.



Alternative Route:

Take the N20 south towards Buttevant. In Buttevant take the R522 Liscarroll Rd to Buffers Cross. At Buffers Cross take the L-1321 into Churchtown. This alternative route is also applicable in reverse.



Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-158-18, not later than 5pm on Tuesday 4th December 2018.
