NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following roads for the dates and for the times stated:-

Cork 20 International Rally 2017

 Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October 2017

Stages 10 & 12: Butter Road

Sunday 1st October 2017 (08.32hrs to 13.29hrs)

Roads to be Closed:

From the junction of the L-7466 and the L-3418 at Ballinagree West to the junction of the L-5246 with the L-5229 at Cloghboola Beg via Ballinagree West, Knocknagappul, Mushera, Lackdotia, Cloghboola Beg.

Road Numbers:

L-7461, L-2750 (Part), L-1123 (Part), L-1124 (Part), L-5246

Alternative Route:

At the junction of the L-3418 and the L-2750 at Annagannihy continue south along the L-3418 via Macroom to the junction with the N22. Turn right onto the N22 and continue west to the junction with the R582. Turn right onto the R582 and continue north via Carriganima to Millstreet. This alternative route is also applicable when travelling in the reverse.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate Cork 20 International Rally 2017

In addition, it is proposed to close all adjoining public roads for a distance of 200 metres from the junctions with the roads listed above.

Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of these roads, with the undersigned not later than Tuesday 29th August 2017.
