NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following roads for the dates and for the times stated:-

Ref: TRC-131-18

Installation of Flood Defences – L-4036-0 Clarke St Clonakilty

From 08.00hrs Thursday 1st November 2018 to 20.00hrs Friday 30th November 2018

(24 Hour Closure)

Road to be closed:

Clarke Street (part - from Astna Street junction to Ashe St junction)

Alternative Route:

North Bound Traffic – Turn right towards Sand Quay / Long Quay, then turn Left onto Wolfe Tone St R880, and continue onto Ashe St R880.

South Bound Traffic - Continue along Ashe Street and Pearse St R880. Turn left onto Bridge St L-4040-1, then turn left onto Lamb St lower L-4043-0, and continue onto the N71.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate

Installation of Flood Defences.

Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of this road, with the undersigned not later than Wednesday 17th October 2018.
