TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROAD – L2492 Coolmore Gardens, Ringaskiddy



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, & Part 8 of Road Regulations 1994, Article 12 (sub article 6), notice is hereby given that the urgent closure of the road as detailed below is necessary, in the interests of public safety.



Road to be closed:

L-2492-0 Coolmore Gardens, Ringaskiddy

Alternative Routes:

Traffic on the R613 wishing to access locations North of the proposed section of roadway should proceed   in an Easterly Direction towards the N28. They should then turn left on the N28 and proceed in a westerly direction. They should then turn left on to the L2492 at Shanbally Village to rejoin north of the closed section.



Traffic on the N28 wishing to access locations South of the proposed section of roadway should proceed in an Easterly direction on the N28 and should turn right on to the R613 at Ringaskiddy. They should then proceed in a westerly direction to access destinations south of the closed section.



Duration of closure:

Monday 16th July 2018 to Wednesday 18th July 2018 – From 19.00hrs to 06.30hrs Nightly Closure



Reason for urgent closure:

To facilitate emergency work to Manhole Covers



You should note that this Urgent Closure does not facilitate the making of objections/observations.
