TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS





NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following road for the date and for the times stated:-



Construction of Foul Gravity Sewer – R612-4 Carrigaline

From Monday 2nd October 2017 to Monday 9th October 2017

 (19.00 hrs to 07.00 hrs Nightly Closure)



Road to be closed:

R612-4 Bypass Road, Carrigaline



Road Number:

Alternative Routes:

Traffic wishing to access the Cork Road (R611) from East of the proposed closed section   should proceed in a Southerly Direction along the R-612-6 (Bypass Road) and turn right on to the R-613-19 (Church Road) they should proceed in a Westerly Direction and take the third exit onto the R-611 (Cork Road)



Traffic travelling in an easterly direction wishing to access locations East of the works should divert on to the R-611 (Cork Road), proceed in a Southerly direction and take the first exit onto the R-613-19 (Church Road) they should then proceed to the traffic lights and turn on to R-612-6 (Bypass Road) or R-612-9 (Bothar Guidel) depending on their destination



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate Construction of Foul Gravity Sewer



Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of these roads, with the undersigned not later than Wednesday 13th September 2017 at 5pm.
