Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:-

Roads Subject of Proposed Closure

The R883 (Main St), N72 Park Road and access roads leading onto same namely R-930 (Shortcastle), L-1207-57 (Fair St), L9014-0 (Shoulders Lane), L1240-0 (William O’Brien St), L12413-0 (Carmichael Lane), L1242-0 (St James Avenue), L1243-0 (Emmet St).

Period of Proposed Closure

Sunday 17th March 2019 (13:00hrs - 15:45hrs).

Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Mallow St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Alternative Routes

Traffic should divert via Beechers Street (R930) along L1237-0 (Lacknalooha) turn onto Ironmines Road (L1207-54) and then onto the L1246-0 Spa Road and onto the N72 at Ballylough Cross

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-15-19, not later than 5pm on Tuesday 12th February 2019.
