Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

R600 & L3204 Ballinspittle Village.

Period of Proposed Closure

From Saturday 19th January 2019 to Sunday 10th February 2019.

Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Ballinspittle Village Improvement Scheme.

Alternative Route

R604 via Garrettstown and on to Kinsale. Diversion will be signposted. Towards Kinsale – Take the L-3204-136 north for approximately 3km and take a right onto the L-7298-0. Follow the road for approximately 3km, onto the junction with the R600/R604 (Barrells Cross). Continue on the R600 heading for Kinsale.

Travelling west, please use the same route as above and at Barrells Cross take the R604, following the alternative route west.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-182-18, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 9th January 2019.
