TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road subject of Closure

R610 Glenbrook – Victoria Terrace/Bath Terrace/Somerville Terrace



Period of Closure

From 09.00hrs Saturday 12th January 2019 to 21.30hrs Monday 4th March 2019

(Daily Closing Times – Mon-Fri 09.30-16.30 & 18.30-21.30 - Open at Peak Times)

(24 hour Closure – Weekends Only)



Reason for Closure

To facilitate Four Sewer Installation and Connections



Alternative Routes

Northbound Traffic will divert via the N28 on to the R609 towards Douglas and the R610 at the Fingerpost Roundabout.

Southbound Traffic will divert via the N28 until it meets the R610 at Raffeen Junction.
