TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road subject of Closure

L-6470-0 – Strawhall, Carrigaline



Period of Closure

From 08.00hrs Monday 21st January 2019 to 18.00hrs Friday 1st February 2019. (24 Hour Closure)



Reason for Closure

To facilitate Foul Sewer Repair



Alternative Routes

Traffic travelling in an easterly direction on the R-610 should proceed in an easterly direction, along the R-610 turn left on to the Glen Road (L-2474-40) and head in a westerly direction to rejoin the L-6470.



Traffic on the L-6470 wishing to access locations west of the proposed closed section of roadway should proceed along the L-6470 in an easterly direction, turn right onto the L-2474-40 (Glen Road) and turn right on to the R-610-0 and then travel in a westerly direction.
