TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROAD ROADS ACT, 1993-2015, (SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993) ROADS REGULATIONS, 1994 NOTICE OF DECISION JUNCTION 8, CASHEL SLIPROADS ON THE M8 MOTORWAY NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing the following road: ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Junction 8, Cashel Sliproads on the M8 Motorway. PERIOD OF CLOSURE: • From 06:00hrs on Monday 7th August 2017 to 19:00hrs on Tuesday 8th of August 2017. • From 06:00hrs on Thursday 10th of August 2017 to 19:00hrs on Friday 11th of August 2017. • From 06:00hrs on Tuesday 15th of August 2017 to 19:00hrs on Wednesday 16th of August 2017. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: • Northbound traffic , exit at Junction 9 Cashel or Junction 7 Cashel. • Southbound traffic, exit at Junction 7 Cashel or Junction 9 Cashel. REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate Pavement Works.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following road for the date and for the times stated:-



ESB Ducting – L-2481-0 Laurel Hill (Upper) Passage West

From 07.30hrs Monday 4th September 2017 to 19.30hrs Friday 22nd September 2017

(24 Hour Closure)



Road to be closed:

L2481 Carrigmahon Hill, Passage West.

Alternative Routes:

Traffic on the west side of the proposed closure wishing to access the R-610 should proceed in a Westerly direction along the L-2481 and should turn left onto the L-2474 and proceed in a Southerly direction to rejoin the R-610. They should then turn left onto the R-610 and proceed in a Northerly Direction



Traffic travelling in a southerly Direction along the R610 wishing to access locations to the west of the proposed closure should proceed in Southerly direction along the R610 and turn right onto the L-2474 at its junction with the R-610 and proceed in a Northerly Direction along the L-2474



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate ESB Ducting Works



Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of these roads, with the undersigned not later than Wednesday 16th August 2017 at 5pm.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



Installation of Foul Sewer – Dominic Collins Place, Youghal

From 08.00hrs Monday 21st August 2017 to 18.00hrs Friday 29th September 2017

Alternative Routes:



Traffic from R634-14 North Main Street (heading east): continue and turn onto Dolphin’s Square and turn in either direction on the R634-12



Traffic from R634-14 North Main Street (heading west): continue on the R634-14 to the roundabout at the junction with the Quarry Road, turn heading east along the R634-12 Breton Road to the entrance of Dominic Collins Place.



Traffic from R634-12 Breton Road (heading east): continue on the R624-12 and turn onto O’Neill Crowley Street & North Main Street to access the Fairfield carpark.



Traffic from R634-12 Breton Road (heading west): continue on the Breton Road R634-12 to the roundabout at the junction with the Quarry Road, turn onto the R634-14 North Main Street to access the Fairfield carpark.



Note: Car park adjacent to Dominic Collins Place and Fairfield Carpark will also be closed during the works but not concurrently.

L-1021 Between Allens Bridge junction with R576 & Ahane Cross Roads

Traffic travelling from Allens Bridge to Clongeel

Option A

Continue along R576 towards Kanturk Town. Continue into Kanturk Town and at mini roundabout turn right onto R579 (over the bridge) and continue along Main Street which then leads onto Percival Street (L-1028). Continue on the L-1028 out of Kanturk Town until Clongeel Crossroads. At Clongeel cross roads turn right on L-1021 towards Newmarket. Continue on L-1021 to Ahane Crossroads

Detour available in reverse

Option B

Continue along R576 towards Newmarket Town. Continue into Newmarket Town. At the West end keep left at the Y in the road onto the L-1018 towards Boherbue. Continue along the L-1018 & L-1033 to Gortearagh Cross. At Gortearagh Cross turn left onto the L-1036 and continue to Clongeel Crossroads. At Clongeel Crossroads turn left onto L-1021 towards Newmarket. Continue on L-1021 to Ahane Crossroads

Detour available in reverse

Temporary Closing Of Roads

Monaghan County Council intends to close a Section of the N12 National Primary route Monaghan to Armagh Roadfrom Pipers Bridge (LP1300) to the R213 junction

Date From: Monday 28th August 2017 to 1st September 2017
To Facilitate:- Pavement Works
Road Closed

N12 National Primary route Monaghan to Armagh Road from Pipers Bridge (LP1300) to the R213 junction

Alternative routes: -
  • Traffic travelling south-west along the A3/N12 (Armagh to Monaghan) to divert left at the N12/R213 Junction at Tamlat and continue south along the R213 to the N2 Dublin – Derry Road at Castleshane. Take right onto the N2 and continue north-west towards Monaghan town.

  • Traffic travelling from Monaghan to Armagh to divert south at the N2 Coolshannagh Roundabout and continue south to the N2 Corlat Roundabout. Take the first exit onto the N2 Dublin - Derry Road and continue south-east. Divert left at N2/R213 Junction at Castleshane and continue north along the R213 to the N12/R213 Junction at Tamlat.  
Diversions will be signposted.
Emergency services access will be catered for at all times on the local diversion routes 

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the A/Head of Roads, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 15th August 2017.

Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
