Temporary Closing Of Roads
Monaghan County Council wishes to advise that the following closure in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan is being extended from Friday 24th November 2017 to Friday 22nd December 2017 (Road will be closed for a 3 week period during these dates).


To Facilitate: Rehabilitation Works to Ballinode Bridge.

Notice to Close the R867 Church Sq Monaghan

Temporary Closing of Roads 

In order to facilitate the turning on of the Christmas Lights, Monaghan County Council in the Municipal District of Monaghan hereby gives notice to close the following roads:

Roads Closed
R867 – Church Square, Monaghan – From Rossmore Monument to Church Square, Monaghan

LS5515 – Lower Mill Street, Monaghan

From 12.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. on Sunday 26th November 2017
Diversions from Emyvale Road to Ballybay/ Clones/ Cootehill will be from the Coolshannagh Roundabout via the N2 bypass to the Dublin Road and R937 to N54 Macartan Road

Local access to the town centre and the Courthouse car park will be via Dublin Street, Macartan Road and Castle Road, Monaghan.

This Notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)

Roadworks Notice - Roxboro Road R511 (between Careys Road and Sexton Street)

Limerick City & County Council advise motorists and road users that major roadworks will operate at the above locations on Monday 20th November 2017 and Tuesday 21st November 2017 between 9.30am and 4.00pm.

These works are to enable reinstatement works associated with sewer connections at the Limerick Prison Project.

Traffic delays are expected during these roadworks operating periods.

Emergency service vehicle access will be available at all times.

Road Closure Notice - O’Connell Street Limerick R526 (From its junction with William Street R527 to its junction with Roches Street R527)

Limerick City & County Council advise motorists and road users that O’Connell Street R526 Limerick will be closed to all vehicle parking and vehicle traffic on Sunday 19th November 2017 from 10am to 9pm. This road closure is to enable Limerick City Christmas lights switch on event.

Local diversions will operate via William Street R527 to Upper Gerald Griffin Street R527 and Roches Street R527.

Emergency vehicle access will be available at the junction of Roches Street / O’Connell Street and Sarsfield Street/ William Street.

Vehicles parked in this portion of O’Connell Street will be subject to tow away.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS





NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following roads for the dates and for the times stated:-



Road Trotting Races – Durrus Village to Parkanna Bridge

Monday 1st January 2018

(12:00hrs to 17.00hrs)  



 Roads to be Closed:

The L-4705-0 from its junction with the R591 at Durrus Village to its junction with the L-47052-0 at Ballycommane.

The L-4705-25 from its junction with the L-47052-0 at Ballycommane to its junction with the L-47054-0 at Ballycommane.

The L-4705-47 from its junction with the L-47054-0 at Ballycommane to its junction with the N71 at Parkanna Bridge, Letterlicky West.

Road Numbers:

L-4705-0, L-4705-25 and L-4705-47.



Alternative Route:

From Durrus Village to Parkanna Bridge/Letterlicky West via the R591 north east to meet the N71 at Dromacoosane. Turn right onto the N71 and continue south east to Parkanna Bridge/Letterlicky West.

This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Parkanna Bridge/Letterlicky West to Durrus Village.



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate

Road Trotting Races



Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of these roads, with the undersigned not later than Wednesday 22nd November2017 at 5pm.
