TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

L-1115 Station Road, Millstreet from Millstreet to Dooneen



Period of Proposed Closure

From 08:00hrs Monday 29th April to 08:00hrs Tuesday 28th May 2019 (24 hour Closure)



Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Pipeline Installation



Alternative Routes

Traffic from Millstreet travelling towards Cullen should travel along the R583 towards      Mallowand turn left at The Sandpit House Junction onto the N72 towards Cullen.

Traffic from Cullen travelling towards Millstreet should remain on the N72 towards Mallow and turn right at The Sandpit House Junction onto the R583 to Millstreet.

Traffic from Millstreet Town Centre travelling towards Millstreet Train Station should travel along the R583 towards Mallow and turn left at Coole Cross, on to the L-1116 (The Glebe). At the junction with the L-1115 at Dooneen, traffic can turn left and travel to the Train Station.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-





Road Subject of Proposed Closure

The L-1212-0 from its junction with the R619 in Drommahane village to its junction with the L-5359-0 at Kilpadder South.



Period of Proposed Closure

From 07:00hrs Monday 20th May 2019 to 07:00hrs Sunday 1st September 2019.

(24 Hour Closure)



Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Laying of Watermains



Alternative Routes

Traffic intending to travel west on the L-1212-0 road from Drommahane village towards Glantane should proceed south on the R619 road in the direction of Bweeng as far as Kilpadder South and turn right onto the L-5359-0 before continuing northwards to meet the L-1212-0.



Traffic coming from the Glantane direction intending to travel towards Drommahane village should proceed on the L-1212-0 as far east as its junction with the L-5359-0 road at Kilpadder South and turn right to continue south to meet the R-619 road to turn left and advance to Drommahane village.



All detours will be signposted.

Local access will be maintained as far as is practicable.



Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-70-19, not later than 5pm on Thursday 25th April 2019.

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-





Road subject of Closure

The L-8318-0 (Céim Hill, north of Rosscarbery)



Period of Closure

From 18.00hrs Friday 3rd May 2019 to 18.00hrs Friday 24th May 2019. (24 Hour Closure)



Reason for Closure

To facilitate Rehabilitation of Water Main & Associated Assets



Alternative Routes

From Céim Hill: Travel west along the L-8363-0 until its junction with the L-4240-90 (Chapel Lane). Turn right onto the L-4240-90 and proceed through the square in Rosscarbery and continue along the L-4240-90 (The Coach Road) until its junction with the N71 (N71-797). Turn right onto the N71 and proceed to the next junction on the right hand side (Derry Cross Roads). Turn right onto the L-8317-0 and continue north wards. End of diversion.



From Ardagh Cross Roads: Continue along the L-8317-0 towards the N71 (N71-797) to the junction at the Derry Cross Roads. Turn left onto the N71 and proceed to the next junction on the left hand side. Turn left onto the L-4240-90 (The Coach Road) and proceed to the square in Rosscarbery. In the square turn left onto the L-8363-0 (Chapel Lane) and proceed to the junction of the L-8363-0 with the L-8318-0 (at Céim Hill). End of diversion.
