It’s that time of the year again! A whole new series of videos has been developed, focusing on what we have in Monaghan to offer the curious tourist.
The project builds on previous My Monaghan campaigns and the main aim is to put a face and a voice to Monaghan. Each video features local people, talking about their passions and telling their stories.
The first video is out today and a new video will be released every week for the next 7 weeks.
In the first video, Siobhan McMahon from Brehon Brewhouse talks about operating a brewery and a dairy farm - “cows on one side, beer on the other…”

You may know Scratch, the free and child-friendly web-based coding platform created by MIT. But did you know that it is great for creating art? Swords Library are running a Parent and Child workshop which will show children and their parents how to create celtic designs on Scratch with minimal coding involved. One child / one parent per laptop and laptops are provided. Learn, explore, and have fun together!
