The Heritage Council will host a public consultation event on Wednesday 13th February from 6.30 – 9 pm in the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny inviting members of the public to have their say in the new government heritage policy called ‘Heritage Ireland 2030’.

Minecraft Workshop in Swords Library

Minecraft Workshop in Swords Library

Hello all,

Calling all Minecrafters who would like to learn a bit about Redstone: Well experiment with levers and buttons, with piston doors and TNT cannons. This is Engineering Week, so lets engineer some stuff in Minecraft!

Youll work in pairs to see who can build the most interesting contraptions. Laptops and Minecraft licences provided. Some experience with Minecraft on the PC aka Java Edition an advantage!

Run by Sabine McKenna of Creative Computing Classes, the workshop is taking place on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Swords Library from 11am to 12.30pm.  Workshop is aimed at 9 to 11 year olds. Places are limited so to make a booking please phone Swords Library on 01 890 5582 or 01 890 5894.

NOTE: The entrance to Swords Library has changed temporaily during renovation works outside the library. Please follow the "Library Entrance" signs outside to gain access to the library.
