There will be to be Water Supply disruption today on the 9th April in the Butlerstown/Orchardstown Area of Waterford due to a Burst Mains. Waterford City & Co. Co. in partnership with Irish Water will work to minimise the impact of any disruption to service & will restore normal supply as soon as possible. A Level Orange Severe Fog warning alert for Waterford has already been issued by SMS within the past 24 hours, so no SMS was issued this time around. It is likely that Met Eireann changed the start/end time of the weather warning from the original version and these updated start/end times are included above. The Council will only send an SMS if they havent already done so for a unique weather event within the previous 24 hours. Otherwise, follow up alerts with changed start/end times will be sent by email/app only.

Road closure L4116 Main St. Tramore, Site Investigation Works, Waterford City & County Council wishes to advise that the lower end of Main St from Boot Pharmacy to the Vee Bistro in Tramore will be closed to through traffic, from 8a.m on Tuesday 9th April until Wednesday afternoon 10th April 2019 to facilitate Site Investigation works in relation to the Public Realm works. There will be Traffic Management Diversions in Place via Market Street. Waterford City and County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.
