TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADROADS ACT 1993 – 2015(SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993)ROADS REGULATIONS 1994.INTENTION TO CLOSE ROADS IN NENAGH TO FACILITATE THE ST. PATRICKS DAY PARADE.NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing the following roads in Nenagh: Roads to be closed:(a)Summerhill(b)Pearse Street(c)Kenyon Street(d)Mitchell Street Period of Closure:Sunday 17th March 2018 from 12pm to 6.00pmAlternative Routes:a)All Traffic from Dublin Road diverted at Martyrs road via Stafford Street and Silver Street or Ciamalta Road.b)East and South bound traffic from Limerick Road diverted at William Street via Silver Street and Ciamalta Road or Stafford Street.c)North bound traffic from Limerick Road diverted at O’Rahilly Street via New Lined)South and East bound traffic from Borrisokane Road diverted at New Line via O Rahilly Street, Ashe Road, Conlon’s Road, William Street, Silver Street and Ciamalta Road or Stafford Street.Reason for Closure: To facilitate the St. Patricks Day Parade in Nenagh.Emergency access will be provided at all times.Diversion routes will be clearly sign-posted and marshalled at all junctions.Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to the Director of Services, Roads & Health & Safety Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh not later than 12 noon on Friday 15th February 2019.
