Masterclass Series in Local Community Development

Masterclass Series in Local Community Development

Tipperary County Council (TCC) is a partner in the EU Erasmus+ Programme co-funded project called INTERFACE. There are a further five organisations involved as partners in the projectfrom Iceland, Greece, Italy and Bulgaria. “INTERFACE” stands for “Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Fragile Communities in Europe”.The “Fragile Communities” approach stems from Iceland, where this bottom-up approach was applied in various communities affected by high levels of depopulation. The main idea is to stimulate and activate community resources, by developing a grassroots process involving an education/training programme for community people who could subsequently act as “coaches” within their respective communities.See full document below for more information on masterclasses.
