ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE 12

 The N63 will be closed in Athleague village on Tuesday 7th May 2019 from 8am to 6pm to facilitate roadworks (local access only).  Diversions will be in place.

HGVs are required to travel on Red highlighted route (Ballygar/Creggs/Castlecoote/Roscommon)

Cars only on Yellow highlighted route (Mount Talbot/Four Roads/Lackan/Skrine/Roscommon)

Road Closure on N63 in Athleague has been extended until 8pm this evening, 7th May 2019.

Diversions will be in place (see Roscommon County Council website for map)

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 75
ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE 12

Roscommon County Council has decided to close the roads set out in the schedule hereunder for the periods and the reason specified. 

Road to be closed:                          R377 from its junction with the L1618 in Knockmurry to its junction with the R367 in Castleplunket.

Period of Closure:                           8.00 am on Monday 13th of May, 2019 to 6.00 pm on Wednesday 29thth of May, 2019.

Alternative Routes:                        R367 and N60.

Reason for Closure:                        To facilitate essential road repairs and road overlays

Roscommon County Council and Irish Water wish to advise customers served by the South Roscommon Regional Water Supply Scheme that the following area(s) on this scheme will experience loss of pressure or disruption to supply from 10.00 p.m. on Thursday 2nd May 2019 to 6.00 a.m. on Friday 3rd May 2019 approx. due step testing in the area. 

The area(s) that will be affected are as follows:

Roscommon County Council has decided to close the road set out in the schedule hereunder for the period and the reason specified. 

Road to be closed:                          L1427 in Curraghroe from its junction with the R371 for a distance of 100m towards Doughil.

Period of Closure:                           Wednesday 1st May, 2019 to Friday, 7th June, 2019.

Alternative Routes:                        Via R371, N63 and L6099

                                                                And Vice Versa

Reason for Closure:                        To facilitate the installation of a culvert.
