Monaghan County Council wish to notify the public that the following roads in County Monaghan will be closed from Monday 27th February 2017 from 8 am until Friday 10th March 2017 to 6pm to facilitate Emergency Road Repairs.

The Road Abutting Mannan Castle Golf Club in the Townland of Donaghmoyne
LP-4911-0 in the Townland of Drumerlough Beg, Magheracloone
Road works will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
In order to facilitate the St. Patricks Day Parade, Monaghan County Council in the Municipal District of Monaghan hereby gives notice of its intention to close the following roads:
Roads Closed R867 – Church Square, Monaghan – from Rossmore Monument to Church Square LS5515 – Lower Mill Street
From 12.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Friday 17th March, 2017
Alternative Routes Diversions from Emyvale to Ballybay, Clones, Cootehill will be via the N2 bypass to the Dublin Road and R937 Macartan Road
Local access to the town centre and the Courthouse car park will be via Dublin Street, Macartan Road and Castle Road.
A map showing the areas affected is available for inspection at the Monaghan Municipal District Office, The Glen, Monaghan.
Any interested person may lodge an objection to the proposed closure in writing to the A/Head of Roads & Transportation, Monaghan Co. Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 28th February 2017. Objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection to Road Closure”.

Monaghan County Council wishes to advise the public that the Castleblayney/Keady Rd (R181) is closed just south of the border due to an overturned tanker. Northbound traffic is being diverted via Annyalla. A southbound diversion is being set up.
