Temporary Closing of Roads 
Monaghan County Council intends to close the following road in County Monaghan in order to facilitate works under the Monaghan Water Conservation Programme

Date:     From Monday 3rd April 2017 to Sunday 16th April 2017 – 24 Hour Closure

Road Closed
LP1632 – Market Street/High Street, Monaghan

Alternative Routes: 
Traffic diverted via Park Street R867-1 onto Dawson Street N54-8

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the A/Head of Roads, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Wednesday 22nd March 2017. 

Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”. 

This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)

It will detail how the needs of our growing population will be met, and how our natural and built heritage will be protected for future generations.

Our first public workshop goes ahead in the Market House in Monaghan Town from 6pm-9pm this evening. We want to know what you think!

Temporary Closing Of Roads
Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in County Monaghan:

Date:- 
              
Monday 20th March 2017 to Friday 12th May 2017

To Facilitate:     
Installation of a new water main along the L-65001 and L-65111 Darraghlan        
to Bannaghbane, on behalf of Stranooden Group Water Scheme. This road                   will be closed for a maximum of 14 days within the closure period from                                       8:00am to 6:00pm.


Road Closed:
L-65001 Darraghlan to Bannaghbane, Stranooden, Monaghan.

Alternative Routes :
Divert via the R188 Monaghan Town/Stranooden Road, the L-2500 Stranooden/Urcher Road and the L-65001 Aghnaglogh Road.

This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
