A number of roads in County Monaghan have fallen trees.

·        Wallaces Bridge (on Glaslough to Monaghan road) blocked

·        Road in Ballinode village

·        Road blocked at Douglas Glass (at a bend on the Ballybay to Monaghan road)

·        Road blocked near McChesneys garage (between Clontibret and Annyalla)



Motorists are advised to take care.



A number of homes in County Monaghan have had power outages, the ESB are working on this at present and hope to restore power as soon as possible. 01 2018

Weather Warning : Code Level Orange Update of warning Tonight and Sunday morning storm Dylan will track northeastwards close to Connacht and Ulster coasts. The biggest impact from the storm will be in western and northern counties with west to southwest winds reaching mean speeds of 65 to 80 km/h with gusts of 110 to 125 km/h. High seas along the west coast too with the risk of coastal flooding.
