Children’s Chess Club
Every Monday and Wednesday from 3.15pm-4.30pm. The term will be finished soon and the new term will begin on 27th March for a new group of players. This is a new book club for our junior readers and it will be starting very soon. There will be two age groups, 7-10 year olds and 10-12 year olds. For March we are reading Colm Tóibin’s Brooklyn– set in the 1950s it tells the story of Eilís, a young Irish woman making a new life in America only for family tragedy to call her home.
