Another burst has occurred on the network in Howth which is affecting the higher areas; Windgate Road, Balkill Road and Thormanby Road.

Repairs are being carried out this morning and it is expected that water will be restored to the area by lunchtime today.

Howth Water Outage

Water is back on in Howth, however it will take at least a couple of hours to recharge the network sufficiently to reach all areas, especially the highest areas. All areas should have water by 10pm tonight.

There is a burst watermain affecting the higher areas in Howth. Repairs are being carried out and it is expected that the water supply will be restored by 7pm this evening.

Water outage in Howth, Thursday 3rd November 2016 between 12pm - 5pm (approx.) to facilitate essential maintenance. 

Areas affected:
  • Asgard Road,

  • Balkhill Road,

  • Casana View,

  • Grace O’Malley Road,

  • Greys Lane,

  • Harbour View,

  • St. Lawrence Terrace and Road,

  • St. Nessan’s Terrace,

  • Thormanby Road, Woods, Lodge and Lawn,

  • Upper Cliff Road,

  • Woodcliff Heights,

  • All other areas may experience low water pressure.

Water outage in Howth Area

Water outage in Howth Area

There is a faulty valve on the network in Howth which is affecting the water supply to the high areas of Howth. All areas in Howth will have no water or low pressure over the next couple of hours while works are carried out to replace the valve. It is expected that the water supply will be fully restored to the area by 11pm tonight.
