Blanchardstown Europe Direct Information Centre and  Work Matters - the library’s Business, Enterprise and Employment Support Service in conjunction with the Local Enterprise Office in Fingal (LEO) are offering Business Advice Sessions in Blanchardstown Library on Thursday 2nd & Thursday 16th of March 2017.

Booking is essential.

Genealogy Advisory Service

Advice will be provided by Fiona Fitzsimons from Eneclann,Trinity College campus company that specialises in history and heritage. This free service will take place from 10.30am to 2.30pm on Wednesday 8th March. Fiona will be able to answer family history questions. Please book your 30 minute slot at the library desk or on 01-8905563.

The Baby Book Club
meets this month on the 3rd Tuesday at 11.30am. Stories, songs & fun for children of pre-school age. Sign up at the desk or call 8905563.

meets every Wednesday from 10.00am to 1.00pm. All are welcome to drop in at any stage.

Spanish Conversation Group - Mondays at 6.30pm.

English Conversation Group- Wednesdays at 6 pm. (Informal and casual English chat, drop-in, no teacher)

LifeRing is an international organization of support groups for people who want to live free of alcohol or other addictive drugs. It provides an environment for interactive sharing & participation & meets in the library on Saturdays from 1—3pm. Children’s Chess Club
Every Monday and Wednesday from 3.15pm-4.30pm. The term will be finished soon and the new term will begin on 27th March for a new group of players. Children’s Scrabble Club

Storytime
Storytime takes place in the library every Tuesday from 12.15pm-1pm for children age 3 years and upwards. No need to prebook. Just come along and join us for a couple of stories.

Garristown Junior Readers
This is a new book club for our junior readers and it will be starting very soon. There will be two age groups, 7-10 year olds and 10-12 year olds. Each group will meet in the library every second Thursday. Contact the library if you would like to join either of the book club groups. Garristown Library Adult Book Club
The Garristown Library Book Club meet on the second Monday of every month from 7-8pm. Their next meeting will be on Monday 13th March when they will be discussing The Green Road by Anne Enright. New members are always welcome.

The Scrabble Club meet every Wednesday afternoon from 1.45pm-3pm.
