Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

Road subject of Closure:

L-62701 Knockburden, Ballincollig.

Period of Closure:

From 08:00hrs Monday 10th December 2018 to 18:00hrs Friday 21st December 2018

Road will be open from 17:59hrs Friday 21st December 2018 to 07:59hrs Wednesday 2nd     January 2019

From 08:00hrs Wednesday 2nd January 2019 to 18:00hrs Friday 11th January 2019

Reason for Closure:

To facilitate the Rehabilitation of Watermain.

Alternative Routes:

For traffic approaching from the north, continue west along the L-2216 and turn left onto L-2218. Turn left onto L-6274 until end of diversion. For traffic approaching from the south, same diversion route in place in opposite direction.

For traffic approaching from the west, head south along L-6270 and turn left onto the L-6276. Turn left onto the L-6272 and continue to end of diversion. For traffic approaching from the east, same diversion route in place in opposite direction.
