NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following road for the dates and for the times stated:-

Cork Motor Club - Jim Walsh Cork Forest Rally 2017

Sunday 30th July 2017

Stages 2 and 6 - Bweeng:

(09.45hrs to 19.00hrs)

Road to be closed:

The L-95791-10 from its junction with the R579 at Monanveel to the entrance of the woods at Glannaharee West.

The L-5341-12 from its junction with the L-5358-0 at Glandine to the entrance of the woods at Glandine.

Road Numbers:

L-95791-10 (Part) and L-5341-12 (Part).

Alternative Route:

From Bweeng to Nad via R619 south to Donoughmore. Continue onto Crean’s Cross Roads. At Cross Roads turn right onto R579. Continue north west along R579 to Nad.

This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Nad to Bweeng.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate Jim Walsh Cork Forest Rally 2017

Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of this road, with the undersigned not later than Tuesday 27th June 2017 at 5pm.

In addition, it is proposed to close all adjoining public roads for a distance of 200 metres from the junctions with the roads listed above.
