TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADBridge Replacement Works – L-7315 Ballinspittle Post Office Bridge

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, & Part 8 of Road Regulations 1994, Article 12 (sub article 6),  notice is hereby given that the urgent closure of the road as detailed below is necessary, in the interests of public safety.

Road Closed:

Part of the L-7315-0 from its junction with the R600 to its junction with the L-7314-0 Ballincurrig Road in Ballinspittle Village.

Road Number:

L-7315-0 (Part).

Alternative Route:

From Ballinspittle Village traffic will be diverted north along the R600, turning left onto the R604 at Coolyrahilly (near Barrel Cross Roads). Traffic will follow the R604 southbound turning right onto the L-7316 at Oldcourt Cross Roads. From here traffic will proceed west through  Ballinvredig Cross Roads rejoining the L-7315-0 at Carrigavulleen.

The alternative route above is also applicable in the reverse.

Traffic on the L-7314-0 may also travel southbound to join the R604 at Garrylucas. Turning right at this junction and following the R604 will bring you to the western side of Ballinspittle Village.

Duration of closure:

From 08.00hrs Friday 16th December 2016 to 20.00hrs Friday 3rd February 2017 (24 Hours Daily)

Bridge Replacement Works

You should note that this Urgent Closure does not facilitate the making of objections/observations.
