TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS





NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



Road Trotting Races – Durrus Village to Parkanna Bridge

Sunday 1st January 2017

(12:00pm to 5:00pm)  



 Roads to be Closed:

The L-4705-0 from its junction with the R591 at Durrus Village to its junction with the L-47052-0 at Ballycommane.

The L-4705-25 from its junction with the L-47052-0 at Ballycommane to its junction with the L-47054-0 at Ballycommane.

The L-4705-47 from its junction with the L-47054-0 at Ballycommane to its junction with the N71 at Parkanna Bridge, Letterlicky West.

Road Numbers:

L-4705-0, L-4705-25 and L-4705-47.



Alternative Route:

From Durrus Village to Parkanna Bridge/Letterlicky West via the R591 north east to meet the N71 at Dromacoosane. Turn right onto the N71 and continue south east to Parkanna Bridge/Letterlicky West.



This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Parkanna Bridge/Letterlicky West to Durrus Village.



This closure is to facilitate Road Trotting Races.
