TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



Jim Walsh Cork Forest Rally 2018

Sunday 29th July 2018



Stages 3 and 5 – Boggeragh Drive (11.45hrs to 19.00hrs)



Roads to be Closed:

The L-5240-46 from border of townlands of Inchamay North and Crinnaloo South to its junction with the L-5243-33 at Crinnaloo South.

The L-5243-33 from its junction with the L-5240-46 at Crinnaloo South to its junction with the L-5239-38 at Crinnaloo South.

The L-5239-38 from its junction with the L-5243-33 at Crinnaloo South to its junction with the L-11241-30 at Crinnaloo South.

The L-27502-26 from its junction with the R579 at Barrahaurin to the entrance to the woods at Annagannihy.





Road Numbers:

L-5240-46 (Part), L-5243-33 (Part), L-5239-38 (Part) and L-27502-26.



Alternative Route:

From Barrahaurin to Kilcorney via R579 north to Nadd. Turn left onto L-1119-145 at Nadd Bridge and continue through Lyre as far as Moll Carthy’s Bridge. At Moll Carthy’s Bridge turn left onto L-1124-0 to Kilcorney.

This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Kilcorney to Barrahaurin.
