TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



West Cork Rally

 Saturday 18th March 2017 and Sunday 19th March 2017.



Stages 6 & 8 Hayes Cross

Saturday 18th March 2017 (14.55 to 20.35)



Roads to be Closed:

From Tulligee, Lissavard to Ladies Cross, The Miles, via Lissavard, Creagh Beg, Hayes Cross Roads, Aghailla, Brittas, Gortnascarty, Kilkerranmore Cross Roads, Gortnagearagh, Clasharaggy Cross Roads, Carhoo Cross Roads and Connors Cross Roads.



Road Numbers:

 L-8021-0, L-8049-0, L-4007-0(part), L-8043-0(part), L-8029-0, L-8027-23, L-8044-0, L-8045-0, L-4007-27 and L-4007-52



Alternative Route:

R-598-50  North to N71 Kilruane and east  to Clonakilty. The reverse also applies.





This Closure is to facilitate the West Cork Rally.



In addition, it is proposed to close all adjoining public roads for a distance of 200 metres from the junctions with the roads listed above.
