TEMPORARY CL OSING OF PUBLIC ROAD – Bridge Replacement Works - L7447 Cackinode Bridge, Macroom

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, & Part 8 of Road Regulations 1994, Article 12 (sub article 6),  notice is hereby given that the urgent closure of the road as detailed below is necessary, in the interests of public safety.

Road Closed:
The L-7447-61 and the L-7447-40 from its junction with the L-3417-0, L-3417-18 and the L-7460-0 at Dromree Cross Roads to its junction with the L-7444-39, L-7444-64 and the L-7447-25 at Cappeen Cross Roads.

L-7447-40 & L-7447-61

Alternative Route:
At Cappeen Cross Roads traffic will be diverted along the L-7444-64, turning left to join the R582 at Caherbirrane Cross Roads. Traffic will follow the R582 south and turn left onto the L-3417-0 at Ardnacrushy (Mount Cross) and continue along the L-3417-0 as far as Dromree Cross Roads.

The alternative route above is also applicable in the reverse.

Duration of closure:
From 08.00hrs Friday 9th December 2016 to 20.00hrs Friday 16th December 2016 (24 Hours Daily)
