NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:

Castlepook Windfarm Project

Electric Cable Installation – L1327 Garrane, Ballyhea, Co. Cork

From 00.01hrs Monday 13th March 2017 to 24.00hrs Saturday 25th March 2017


Road To Be Closed:

Part of the L-1327-25 from its junction with the L-5532-0 at Garrane Cross Roads to the forestry entrance at Ballynaboola.

Alternative Route:

Traffic wishing to access road from the West of the closure are to divert Northward via N20-337 and turn right onto L5531-11. Continue to Ardskeagh Crossroads, turn right onto L5532-0 and continue onto Garrane Cross to join the L1327-25.

Traffic wishing to access this road from the East of the closure are to divert Northwards via L8567 via Ballymacshaneboy, Co. Limerick to Ballyshonikin Cross and take left and follow the L-5531-11 from the County Bounds back to Ardskeagh Cross Roads and continue along the L5531-11 as far as the N20. Turn left and continue Southward to Ballyhea Church and turn left again on L1327-25.


Diversion route will be signposted.

This closure is to facilitate the Installation of MV Electric Cable Infrastructure.
