TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS







NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following road will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



Duct Installation Works – R610 Douglas Village

From Monday 13th February to Thursday 16th February 2017

(8pm to 5am - Night time Closure)

 

Road To Be Closed:

Part of the R610 in Douglas Village from its junction with the L-2468-0 Douglas East to the Roundabout outside Douglas Court Shopping Centre.

Alternative Route:

Traffic travelling along the R610 Douglas Road will be diverted right onto the L-2468-0 Douglas East at the Topaz Filling Station and continue as far as the Finger Post Roundabout. Traffic will rejoin the R610 and continue towards Douglas Court Shopping Centre. Traffic leaving Douglas Court Shopping Centre will follow the R610 to the Finger Post Roundabout and take the exit for the R609 Carrigaline Road. Traffic will follow the R609 before turning right onto the L-2467-0 Old Carrigaline Road and join the L-2468-0 in Douglas Village before rejoining the R610 at the Topaz Filling Station.



This closure is to facilitate Duct Installation works.
