TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road Subject of Closure

L-3424-1 Cooleyhane Road (Mill Road), Macroom, Co. Cork



Period of Closure

From 20.01hrs on Monday 22nd June, 2020 to 20.00hrs on Friday 10th July, 2020 (24hr Closure)



Reason for Closure

To facilitate works on the Cooleyhane Overbridge Structure as part of N22 Baile Bhuirne to Macroom Road Development



Alternative Routes

Eastbound Traffic: Follow the L-3418-33 south to the N22. Follow the N22 east to its junction with the R-618 – Coachford Junction. Take the R-618 east across the New Bridge to the junction with the L-3423-0. Follow the L-3423-0 to its junction with the eastern end of L-3424-1 Cooleyhane Road.

Westbound Traffic: The above mentioned route is applicable in reverse.



Local access will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road Subject of Proposed Closure

L-9601-0 Whitepoint towards Whitepoint Moorings, Cobh, Co. Cork.



Period of Proposed Closure

From 06.00hrs on Monday 13th July 2020 to 18.00hrs on Saturday 25th July 2020

(24hr Closure).



Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate pipe laying works for the Lower Harbour Sewerage Scheme.



Alternative Routes

On approach from the R624 traffic will be diverted on to the Lower Road (L-2965-20) towards Cobh Town. At the roundabout traffic will have access through the Port of Cork Cruise Terminal into the Five Foot Way Carpark and exit from the carpark via the Port of Cork Cruise Terminal.



The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.



Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC 82-2020, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 17th June 2020. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road Subject of Proposed Closure

R624 Cobh Road, Cobh, Co. Cork,



Period of Proposed Closure

From 06.00hrs on Monday 6th July 2020 to 18.00hrs on Saturday 11th July 2020

(24hr Closure).



Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate road resurfacing works for the Lower Harbour Scheme.

                                                                                             

Alternative Routes

Approaching from the North turn left on to the L2993 Ballynoe then turn right on to Ballynoe Hill L-2995 continue to the T - junction and turn right on to the L-2965, at the cross roads turn right on to the Lake Road L-2971 at the next T-junction turn right on to the R624.



Approaching from the South at cross roads between High Road and Lower Road turn right on to the L2965. At the next cross roads with Lake Road, continue on straight L-2965 and turn left on to Ballynoe Hill Road L-2995. At the next T-Junction turn left on to the L-2993 continue on to the junction with the R624.



The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.



Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.



Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC 86-2020, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 17th June 2020. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
