NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following road will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



Drainage & Watermain Works – Brady’s Lane, Bandon

From 08:00hrs Monday 6th February 2017

To 18:00hrs Friday 3rd March 2017

(24 Hours Daily)



   Road to be Closed:

Brady’s Lane from its junction with the R586 Glasslinn Road to its junction with the L-2042-0 Oliver Plunkett Street.



Road Number:

Brady’s Lane and Adjoining Car Park.



Alternative Route:

From Glasslinn Road to Oliver Plunkett Street via R586 west to Saint Finbarr Place. At junction at Saint Finbarr Place turn left onto R603. At next junction turn left onto L-2042-0 Oliver Plunkett Street.

This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Oliver Plunkett Street to Glasslinn Road.



This Closure is to facilitate Drainage and Watermain Works.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



L7314 Ballinspittle 

(Closure in Conjunction with Ballinspittle P.O. Bridge Replacement Works)

From 08:00hrs Friday 3rd February to 17:00hrs Friday 24th February 2017

(24 Hours Daily)



Road To Be Closed:

The L-7314 from its junction with the R600 in Ballinspittle Village to its junction with the R604 at Garrylucas.

Road Numbers:

L-7314-0 & L-7314-14.



Alternative Route:

Traffic travelling into Ballinspittle Village will follow the R600 and continue onto the R604 at Kilmore Cross Roads before the diversion ends at its junction with the

L-7314-14 at Garrylucas.



The alternative route above is also applicable in the reverse.



This closure is to facilitate work in conjunction with the Ballinspittle PO Bridge Replacement works.

Road to be Closed:

The L-1324-0 from its junction with the L-1307-39 and L-5488-0 at Ardnageehy to its junction with the N20 at Ballyhay.



Road Number:

L-1324-0.



Alternative Route:

From Ballyhay Cross Roads to Ardnageehy Cross Roads via L-5531-0 west to junction with N20. At junction turn right onto N20 and continue north to Cooleen. At junction turn left onto L-1312-0 and at next junction turn left onto L-1313-28. Follow L-1313-28 to Clashganniv. At junction turn left onto L-5488-0 and continue south to Ardnageehy Cross Roads.

From Ardnageehy Cross roads to Ballyhay Cross Roads via L-1307-39. At junction turn left onto L-5529-16. Follow L-5529-16 to Aglish Cross Roads. At Aglish Cross Roads turn left onto L-5530-0. At Chapel Cross Roads turn left onto N20 and continue north to Ballyhay. At junction turn right onto L-5531-0 to Ballyhay Cross Roads.



This closure is to facilitate the installation of an electric cable.

From Monday 23rd January 2017
To Sunday 19th February 2017
(8:00am to 7:00pm Daily)






Road to be Closed:

The L-5488-0 from Charleville Sub-Station to its junction with the L-1324-0 and L-1307-39 at Ardnageehy.



Road Number:

L-5488-0 (Part).



Alternative Route:

From Ballypierce to Ardnageehy via L-1313-0 west to Milltown Cross Roads. At cross roads turn left onto L-5481-0. At junction at Cooliney turn left onto L-1307-30 and continue straight ahead to join L-1307-39. Continue north east to Ardnageehy.

From Ardnageehy to Ballypierce via L-1324-0 east to N20 at Ballyhay. At junction turn left onto N20 and continue north to Cooleen. At junction turn left onto L-1312-0. At cross roads at Rathgoggan South turn left onto L-1313-28 and continue south west to Ballypierce.



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate

the installation of an electric cable.
