Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

L-2990 Park Lane One Way Street, Cobh, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure
From 06.00hrs on Monday 13th July 2020 to 18:00hrs on Wednesday 22nd July 2020.
(24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure
To facilitate the laying of ESB ducting for the Cobh Lower Harbour Sewerage Scheme.

Alternative Routes
Traffic approaching Park Lane will be diverted on to Laundry Hill L-2965, then turn right on to Park Road/Ahern Place L-7058 then turn right on to Orilia Tce. L2989.

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

L-3414-0 at Ceimatarbh, Macroom.



Period of Proposed Closure

From 08:30hrs on Tuesday 4th August, 2020 to 17:00hrs on Saturday 15th August, 2020

(Daily)



Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Road Resurfacing.



Alternative Routes

Westbound Traffic: From junction at Rose Cottage follow L-3408 west to its junction with L-3412 and follow L-3412 south to rejoin L-3414 at Ceimatarbh.



Eastbound traffic to Macroom: Traffic to remain on R-584 and continue east to Hartnetts Cross. Follow N22 into Macroom.



Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Road Closure 2: Westbound diversion – Follow the road straight along the L-8774-0, heading north and turn left onto the L-8774-0. The reverse applies in the opposite direction.



Local Access only will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

To facilitate Road Strengthening



Alternative Routes

Traffic wishing to travel north onto the L1319 will be diverted at Mallow Hospital Cross and directed to travel on the N20 Cork-Limerick road into Buttevant. At the junction with R522, traffic will be diverted on the R522 to the Lackaroe junction, Liscarroll where it meets with L1319 again. End of diversion.



Traffic wishing to travel south onto the L1319 will be diverted at the Lackaroe junction, Liscarroll and directed to travel on the R522 into Buttevant. At junction with N20 in Buttevant traffic will be diverted along the N20 into Mallow until reaching Mallow Hospital Cross. End of diversion.



Local Access only will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

R-578-303 County Cross/Tarrants Cross, Freemount



Period of Proposed Closure

From 07.00hrs Monday 10th August, 2020 to 20.00hrs Thursday 20th August, 2020

(Daily)



Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Road Strengthening



Alternative Routes

Traffic wishing to travel east along R578 will be diverted to Walsh Cross, Freemount and directed to travel on the R579 into Broadford village. Traffic will then be diverted along the R515 into Dromcollogher and will then be diverted onto the R522 within Dromcollogher village. Continue along R522 until the Bog Cross junction, Dromina and meet with R578 again. End of diversion.



Traffic wishing to travel west along R578 will be diverted at the Bog Cross junction and directed along the R522 into Dromcollogher. Traffic will then be diverted onto the R515 within Dromcollogher to Broadford until junction with R579 in Broadford village. Traffic will be directed along R579 until reaching junction at Walsh Cross, Freemount and meets with R578 again. End of diversion.



Local Access only will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
