NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following road will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



Dooneen, Millstreet

From 10.00hrs Tuesday 4th April 2017 to  17.00hrs Friday 7th April 2017

(24 hour closure)

Roads Closed

The L-1116 from its junction with the L-1115-0 at Dooneen to its junction with the R583-27 at Coole.

Alternative route:

Traffic travelling from Dooneen to Coole Cross should take the L-1115 to Millstreet. At the junction of the L-1115 and the R582, traffic should turn left onto Main Street and continue east along the R583 to Coole Cross.



Reverse Route:

Traffic travelling from Coole Cross to Dooneen should take the R583 to Millstreet. At the junction of the R582 and the L-1115, traffic should turn right onto the Station Road and continue north to Dooneen.



This road closure is to facilitate Maintenance to Track Infrastructure.

ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADL-2055-0 Bridge Lane, Bandon



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, & Part 8 of Road Regulations 1994, Article 12 (sub article 6),  notice is hereby given that the urgent closure of the road as detailed below is necessary, in the interests of public safety.



 Road to be Closed  Part of the L-2055-0 Bridge Lane from its junction with the R603 Pearse Street to its junction with the L-2056-0 Market Quay.



Road Number:           L-2055-0 (Part)



Alternative RouteDiverted traffic travelling east along the R603 South Main Street and onto Pearse Street will turn right onto the L-2057-0 and onto Saint Patrick’s Quay.

In reverse diverted traffic travelling west along L-2057-0 Saint Patrick’s Quay, turn right on to R603 Market Street, and then right on to R603 South Main Street.

                                   

Duration of works:     From 18.01hrs Friday 31st March 2017 to 18.00hrs Friday 28th April 2017 (24 Hours Daily).



Reason for urgent closure:  to complete the installation of new drainage pipes and road gullies as part of the Bandon Flood Relief Scheme.



You should note that this Urgent Closure does not facilitate the making of objections/observations.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



Installation of a Cattle Underpass – L-6960-0 Ballynabortagh, Carrignavar

Monday 17th April 2017 to Saturday 22nd April 2017

(24 Hours Daily)



Roads to be closed:

The L-6960-0 from its junction with the L-69601-0 at Ballynabortagh to its junction with the L-29585-22 at Ballyvorisheen East.



Road Numbers

Alternative Route:

From the junction of L-6960-0 / L-69601-0 at Ballynabortagh, head south along the L-6960-0 for 0.91km and turn right onto the L-69602-0. Continue west along the L-69602-0 for 1.3km to the junction at L-29585-22. Turn right onto the L-29585-22 and head north east for 0.9km to join the L-6960-0.

This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Ballyvorisheen East to Ballynabortagh.

This closure is to facilitate installation of a Cattle Underpass.
