NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



Ballyvodock East to Ahanesk, Midleton, Co.Cork.

From 08:30hrs Monday 20th March 2017

To 17:00hrs Friday 7th April 2017

(8.30 hrs – 17.00 Daily)





Roads to be closed:

The L-7649-0 from its junction with the L-3619-51 at Ballyvodock East to its junction with the L-76492-0 at Ballyvodock/ Ballyannan 3 cross roads

The L-76492-0 from its junction with the L-7649-0 at Ballyvodock/ Ballyannan 3 cross roads to waterfront at Ahanesk (Cul-De-Sac)

L-7649-0 and L-76492-0



Alternative Route:

From Ballyvodock East to Ballyvodock/ Ballyannan 3 cross roads via L-3619-51 and the L-7649-0 via Baneshane & Ballyannan. This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse.



The L-76492-0 is a cul-de-sac and no alternative route is available.



This road closure is to facilitate Road Improvement Works.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following road will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:





Fair Street, Mallow

From Monday 20th March 2017 to Thursday 23rd March 2017

(09.15hrs to 18.00hrs Daily)



Road to be closed:

The L1207-57 for a length of 172m from the junction of the R883 (Thomas Davis Street) to the junction L1238 (Bowling Green).

Alternative Routes:

From Thomas Davis Street (R883) traffic should divert at the junction with the R930 (Shortcastle Street) to the junction with L1237 (Lacknaloha). Traffic should then divert at the next junction to the right and travel along the L1238 via Bowling Green onto Fair Street.



From Fair Street, traffic should divert onto New Road (L1240) and continue straight via O’Brien Street to the junction with Thomas Davis Street (R883).



This road closure is to facilitate the laying of a duct.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



River Ilen (Skibbereen) Flood Defence Scheme

Installation of Culvert – R595-1 Townsend Street, Skibbereen

From 08.00hrs Monday 27th March to 20.00hrs Thursday 13th April 2017

(24 Hours Daily)



Road to be closed:

The R595-1 Townsend Street from its junction with the Baltimore Road roundabout to its junction with The Orchard (L-9815-0).

Alternative Routes:

Traffic approaching Skibbereen along the Baltimore Road (R595-0) shall be diverted onto Coronea Drive (L-4254-0), turning right onto Mardyke Street (L-9812-0) until it rejoins Townsend Street (R595-1) at the junction with Bridge Street (L-4211-23).

                  

Traffic approaching Skibbereen from the Castletownsend Road (R596-0) shall be diverted onto the Baltimore Road (R595-0) until it reaches the junction with Coronea Drive (L-4254-0), where it shall be diverted onto Coronea Drive (L-4254-0). Traffic shall proceed along Coronea Drive, turning right onto Mardyke Street (L-9812-0) until it rejoins Townsend Street at the junction with Bridge Street (L-4211-23).



Traffic approaching the Baltimore Road roundabout along Market Street (R595-1) shall be diverted onto the Baltimore Road (R595-0) until it reaches the junction with Coronea Drive (L-4254-0), where it shall be diverted onto Coronea Drive (L-4254-0). Traffic shall proceed along Coronea Drive, turning right onto Mardyke Street (L-9812-0) until it rejoins Townsend Street at the junction with Bridge Street (L-4211-23).



This closure is to facilitate Installation of a Culvert as part of the River Ilen Flood Defence Scheme
