L-6466 Moneygourney/Ballyorban Road from the junction with the L-2472 to a point 800m South

Alternative Route:

Traffic travelling north shall follow the L-2470 up Maryborough Hill to its Junction with the L-2472 and take a right turn, following the road until it meets the L-6466.



Traffic wishing to travel south shall follow the L-2472 as far as it’s junction with the L-2470 and take a left turn, travelling along the L-2470 until it meets the L-6466





This closure is to facilitate Installation of Rising Main and Sewer

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following road for the dates and for the times stated:-



Road Resurfacing Works – R639 Riverstown to Glanmire Bridge

From Monday 14th of August 2017 to Friday 25th of August 2017

(09.00hrs to 17.00hrs Daily)



Road to be Closed

The R639 from its junction with the R615 at Old Youghal Road to its junction with the L2999.

Alternative route:

From Hazelwood head southeast on School Terrace R639 towards the Old Youghal Road. At junction turn right onto Old Youghal Road R615. Continue on Old Youghal Road R615 for 2.8 km. Turn left onto Mayfield Park R635, continue on this road for 1.3 km. Turn left to stay on R635. Merge onto Lower Glanmire road N8 and continue onto Dunkettle Roundabout.



This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Dunkettle to Hazelwood.



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate Road Resurfacing works



Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of this road, with the undersigned not later than Wednesday 19th July 2017 at 5pm.

The L3601 from its junction with the R626 to its junction with the L3600 at Two Pot Cross Roads at Knocknagare .

Alternative route:

From Midleton travelling along the R626 continue north towards Rathcormac, turn right onto the R628 heading east towards Conna. Turn right onto the L1526 at Leary’s Cross and continue straight through Curraghdermot Cross Roads on the L3600. Rejoin the L3601 at Two Pot Cross Roads.



This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from CastleLyons.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS







NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:







From 19.00hrs Tuesday 25th July 2017 to 03.00hrs Wednesday 26th July 2017

(Night Time Closure)



Road to be closed:

The National Secondary N72 route between Fermoy Hospital Entrance and Toss Bryan’s. No through traffic will be permitted.

Alternative Route:

N72 traffic travelling west towards Fermoy from Lismore will be diverted via the L-1537 at McDonnells Bros in Coulagown  and continue along the L-1516 to its intersection with the R639/N72 in  Pearse Square, Fermoy.



This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse



This closure is to facilitate Erection of Temporary Flood Barriers
