TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road Subject of Proposed Closure

L-9601 Whitepoint Moorings to Five Foot Way Carpark Cul de Sac.



Period of Proposed Closure

From 20.01hrs Sunday 12th April, 2020 to 06.00hrs Sunday 31st May, 2020

(24 Hr Closure)



Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate the Installation of a New Foul Sewer and Rising Mains



Alternative Routes

On approach from the R624 traffic will be diverted on to the Lower Road (L-2965-20) towards Cobh Town. At the roundabout traffic will have access through the Port of Cork Cruise Terminal into the Five Foot Way Carpark and exit from the carpark via the Port of Cork Cruise Terminal.



Local access will be maintained for the duration of the closure.



Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-50-2020, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 25th March, 2020. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road Subject of Closure

L-8731-0 Ballyourane to Caheragh Road – from junction at Ballyourane to Clooncuggar (Finn’s cross), Caheragh, Drimoleague, Co. Cork.



Period of Closure

From 08.00hrs Monday 30th March 2020 to 20.00hrs Friday 17th April 2020.

(24hour closure)



Reason for Closure

To facilitate Road Construction



Alternative Routes

From the North and East approaches, continue west on L-8730-0 to junction at L8731-0 and turn south. From the south approach, continue north on the L-8731-0 and turn east on to the L-8730-0.



Local access will be maintained only for residents along the closed section of road.

ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road Subject of Closure

N72 from the junction of the N72 and L1220-25 (Oliver’s Cross) to the junction of the N72 and L5331-0 (Ballylough Cross), Mallow.



Period of Closure

From 22.00hrs on Wednesday 22nd April 2020 to 06.00hrs on Monday 27th April 2020. (Nightly Closure).



Reason for Closure

To facilitate an ESB Connection.



Alternative Routes

From the N72 at Oliver’s Cross traffic shall divert via St Joseph’s Road (L1220-25) back to the N72, while traffic travelling from Mallow town direction will divert via the L5331-0 (Ballyviniter Lower) and the L5320-0 back to the N72.



Local access to be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
