COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS
A Public Information Evening will take place inTinryland GAA Clubhouse on Tuesday 2nd May at 7.30 p.m. to set up a Tinryland and District (Ballon, Rathoe, Nurney etc.) Community First Responders Group. John Fitzgerald from CFR Ireland and Des Kelly from the National Ambulance Service will be in attendance at the meeting.
A Community First Responder is a trained member of the public who has volunteered to assist their local community by attending emergency calls in their locality. The Community First Responder programme is managed by the National Ambulance Service and all volunteers are trained to PHECC Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council standards.
