Thunderstorms will affect the eastern half of the country this morning with heavy downpours, the risk of hail and gusty winds. Temporary surface flooding is possible for a time, combined with the risk of hail will lead to hazardous driving conditions in some areas.

  • Severity: Orange
  • Valid from: Sat. 29/06 @ 4AM
  • Valid to: Sat. 29/06 @ 11AM
  • Affected Areas: Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan and Waterford

Please be advised of the following Unplanned Water Outage Notice, details of which will be announced on KCLR and circulated on mapalerter.com and IW SharePoint.



GMC Ltd., on behalf of Irish Water and Carlow County Council are currently carrying emergency watermain repair works today, 25th June, 2019.

As a result, the water serving properties on Dublin Street, Carlow Town, may experience water loss between the hours of 2pm and 4pm.

Carlow County Council and Irish Water apologise for any inconvenience caused.
