Due to a water burst - water will be off today, Monday 04/09/2017 from approx. 1.00pm to 6.00pm. Areas affected will be Lawcus Stoneyford, Kells and Dunnamaggin Co. Kilkenny.
Traffic lights will be in operation for the duration of works.

Irish Water & Roscommon County Council

It has come to the attention of Irish Water and Roscommon County Council that the water supply served by Ballinlough Loughglynn public water scheme is contaminated with Cryptosporidium. On the advice of the Health Service Executive, a is being issued. Accordingly, in the interest of public health, it is recommended that all users on the Ballinlough Loughglynn water scheme boil water before use.

Water must be boiled for:

  • Drinking

  • Drinks made with water

  • Preparation of salads and similar foods, which are not cooked prior to eating

  • Brushing of teeth

  • Making of ice
Areas Affected include Ballinlough, Cloonfad, Trien, Cloonkeen, Cloonbunny, Silverfield, Cloonagh, Tonragee, Garanlahan Lowberry and all townlands surrounding these. Semi Private Group schemes served by the public water supply are also affected.

Essential Maintenance Works - Mulgrave Street, Limerick

Leak repair works may cause supply disruptions to Fairview Avenue, Mulgrave Street and surrounding areas in Limerick City.

A traffic management system will be in place for the duration of the works.

Works are scheduled to be carried out from 7:30am until 1pm on 7 September.
