Water Off - Friday 09/03/18 Bennettsbridge Area

Due to an issue in the Pump House water may be off in the following areas from 2.00pm to 8.00pm this evening, Friday, 9th March, 2018.
Areas affected will be Bennettsbridge, Sheastown, Danesfort, Seven Houses, Kells, Dunnamaggin, Ballyhale, Knocktopher, Stoneyford, Dungarvan, parts of Thomastown and Gowran and surrounding areas.

Irish Water and Kilkenny County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Lifting of Boil Water Notice - Carrigeen

Lifting of Boil Water Notice - Carrigeen

On the advice of the Health Service Executive and as a precautionary measure due to power outages caused by extreme weather, a Boil Water Notice was imposed on the Carrigeen PWS on the 1st March 2018.

Irish Water and Waterford County Council wishes to notify consumers that following the receipt of satisfactory monitoring results, on the advice of the Health Service Executive, Irish Water and the Council are now in a position to remove the boil water notice with immediate effect.

Everyone on the Carrigeen Public Water Supply Scheme can now resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.

The Irish Water Customer Contact Centre (1850 278 278) is available to answer customer queries in relation to this water notice. Further information is available on the www.water.ie
