Public Notice of Traffic Disruption arising from Warrenhouse Road Watermain Replacement Scheme

Planned Works April 2017

Irish Water and Fingal County Council advise that works will commence on the Warrenhouse Road Watermain Scheme on 10/04/2017. These works (three weeks duration approx.) are required to install new watermain infrastructure to ensure the long term sustainability of this system in the Baldoyle/Howth area and are in advance of resurfacing works due to take place on Warrenhouse Road in the Summer of 2017.

It is hoped that traffic disruption will be at a minimum. However, cycle lane and parking facilities will be suspended along this route at various locations and times during the course of the works and occasional temporary local diversions will be in place and your cooperation with diversions is appreciated.

Every effort will be made to keep all accesses open with only short periods of disruption where entrances will be crossed during these works. Traffic management will be localised and signposted in advance as far as possible. Disruption will be kept to a minimum where possible. Regular progress updates will be provided.

The Watermain Replacement Scheme works will be undertaken by Fingal County Council on behalf of Irish Water and further information may be obtained by contacting Irish Water through one of the channels below.
